The Celtic Film and Television Festival

The Third Man was contracted to provide event management services for the Celtic Film and Television festival which was held in Truro during March 2001. The project involved raising £250,000 from the public and private sectors. We exceeded our targets for both sponsorship and attendance.
This complex four day event was attended by 500 people and required full conference facilities including audio and video presentation equipment; simultaneous translation; live web-casting via an outside broadcast unit; 3 screening facilities; and a multi-media library. We organised daily catering and a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
The Third Man was responsible for everything from travel and accommodation for delegates and speakers to printed festival literature, set design and creating a diverse programme of events. In addition, we organised a wide range of public events at a number of venues in Cornwall. The Third Man staff were responsible for marketing and P.R. and the event was covered by television, radio, local, national and international press.
